CLV x Stephanie Danielle: Dresses for Every Destination
If you were to ask us about our dream vacation, two destinations that would top the list are Paris, France, and Portofino, Italy. Both dreamy European cities offer their own unique charm; the colorful cliffs of Portofino and the urban-chic streets of Paris. So as you can guess, we were super excited to style Stephanie Danielle, fashion blogger and creator of The City Blonde, for her recent travels to these gorgeous places!

First up, Portofino. Stephanie popped against the picturesque Italian coastline in a red mermaid dress bearing a flattering plunge neckline and open back. The warm hue complemented the pretty colored buildings lining the village. Follow her lead and capture the essence of Portofino by selecting a style with few or no embellishments, and also doesn’t compete with the shades of the Riviera. Stick to wine, red, gold, or green in sleek fitted silhouettes. Or, if you’re feeling especially fancy (say, for a gala!) slip into a floral ball gown that’s basically its own work of art.

The Brooklyn and Bailey and Camille La Vie Prom Dress Collection
They’re baaack! And yes, the rumors were true! Last year, Youtube sensations Brooklyn and Bailey got their prom dresses from Camille La Vie, and this year, they’ve created their own line! For Prom 2019, we partnered once again with the lifestyle vloggers to create The Brooklyn and Bailey and Camille La Vie Prom Dress Collection! The sisters also filmed another video in the Houston Camille La Vie Store, where they browsed around and tried on tons of prom dresses! And as you can imagine, it was so much fun! Scenes included a dress faceoff, where Brooklyn and Bailey had viewers guess which style was in their collection, along with behind the scenes clips from their prom dress photoshoot! And then things got competitive: a race to see who could try on more prom dresses in 10 minutes. The goal? 20 dresses. The winner? Wedding Dress Shopping with Vlogger Jessica MacCleary
When should brides start shopping for their wedding dress?
JM: “You should go wedding dress shopping about 6 to 9 months before your wedding so if you need alterations you have time to do that. But any time you feel ready is the time to go!”Who should a bride bring to go dress shopping?
JM: “People who are great to go wedding dress shopping with are people like your mom, your best friend, your grandma, a bridesmaid or two. But I’d recommend keeping it down to like 3 to 5 people since it can get a little hectic.”What trends did you spot while shopping for your dress?
JM: “One trend that I noticed was a lot of ball gowns with unique necklines.”
Did you buy a dress that you’ve always envisioned or something completely different?
JM: “I completely ended up with the dress I’d always imagined I’d have for my wedding day! This is like my dream dress, the dress that’s similar to all the dresses on my Pinterest board…this was the dress.”How was your shopping experience at Camille La Vie?
JM: “My shopping experience at Camille La Vie was amazing! Everyone was so nice and attentive and had all the sizes and so many different styles. I was so glad I chose to go to Camille La Vie.”How did you know you found “the dress?”
JM: “I knew I found ‘the dress’ when I put it on…and then I didn’t want to take it off! I felt so beautiful and you just know. Like when you know you find love, you just know when you find ‘the dress.’”Any additional advice for our brides-to-be?
JM: “Don’t worry about the small stuff! Don’t worry about things you can’t control; your wedding is a day to celebrate your love with your future spouse.” So which dress do you think she chose? Prom Dress Shopping with Instagram It-Girl Hunter Rae Mason
Hey girls! Have you seen our recent posts featuring Instagram star Hunter Rae Mason? A model, car enthusiast, and #CLVGIRL, we recently partnered with the Florida senior for prom, where she served as a brand ambassador for Camille La Vie!
A loyal customer since middle school, Hunter recently purchased her senior prom dress from our Orlando store, documenting all her chic choices on Instagram before deciding on a stunning two-piece sparkler, below.
Aside from sharing her shopping experience with us, Hunter recently took over our Instagram live talking all things prom, from her Camille La Vie dress (she knew it was “the one” the moment she put it on) to the biggest trends she spotted at her “Enchanted” themed prom (tons of pretty beading). The best advice she gave us? When shopping for a dress, have an open mind and try on everything-even if it’s a color you’re unsure about!

Sneak Peek: Emblem 3 for J14 Prom Q & A
Who doesn’t love a sneak peek? In our J14 spring prom ads featuring Emblem 3’s Wes and Keaton Stromberg, we got the guys to dish their prom preferences when it comes to music, fashion, dates, and more. Read on to see what they said, and scoop up the March and May issues of J14 to see the rest of their answers!
Seems like the boys were divided on this one!
Wesley said: “Fast dance cause I like to bump and grind.”
Keaton said: “Slow jam so I can savor the moment and fall in love.” Cue the awws.
Real talk: Using only emoji, how do Wes and Keaton rank a date who is the “life of the party, wants to be a backup dancer, can’t be peeled off the dance floor” type? Given they’re both talented musicians, it came as no surprise when both gave a “thumbs up” to a prom plus one who loves to boogie in the spotlight!
Wesley said: “Suit cause I be on my suit ‘n tie game.”
Keaton said: “Suit to keep it modern and classy.”
It’s timeless fashion for the win.
Real talk again. How do these cuties feel about the “social media maven who has documented the entire night on Instagram stories, Facebook live, and Snapchat” prom date?
Wesley: halfway thumb
Keaton: thumbs down!

Wesley said: “Do cause it should be special and you should treat your girl like the princess she is.” Can’t say we disagree, Wes.
Keaton said: “Do because it should be a moment to remember” And once again, Keaton giving us all the feels.
